On March 8, Truong Thinh Steel Structure Factory had the honor of welcoming a visiting delegation from the ASEAN – Korea Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) Mobility Program.
The delegation consisted of 24 members, including 13 students and 7 lecturers from the ASEAN – Korea TVET Mobility Program, 2 accompanying lecturers from Ho Chi Minh City College of Construction, and 2 representatives from the program’s media team. Representing the company to receive the delegation were Mr. Tran Quang Phat – Deputy General Director, and Mr. Dang Ba Cuong – Senior Advisor to the General Director.
The program marks a significant step in strengthening cooperation in vocational education between ASEAN countries and South Korea. It brings together students from six Southeast Asian nations with the shared goal of improving the quality and opportunities in vocational training.
The program was established to narrow the skills gap among ASEAN member countries through mobility and exchange initiatives. It focuses on five priority vocational training fields: Electrical & Electronics, Construction, Automotive, Tourism & Hospitality, and Computer & Information Services. Vietnam is proud to be responsible for the Construction sector, and Truong Thinh is one of the enterprises honored to host this visiting delegation.
During the visit, the delegation toured the factory and observed the steel structure manufacturing process. They gained practical insights into the construction industry—learning about methods and approaches to build more efficiently and cost-effectively.
