Truong Thinh Extends Support to Central Vietnam

After nearly 12 hours of continuous travel, on the morning of November 23, the Truong Thinh relief team arrived in Hoa Thinh and Hoa Xuan communes, formerly part of Phu Yen and now under Dak Lak province. Witnessing the damaged houses, swept-away belongings, and the chaotic scene left behind by the floods, every member of the team deeply felt the hardship and struggles the local people had endured over the past days.

During this trip, Truong Thinh delivered 1,000 relief packages, each worth 200,000 VND, including 5 kg of rice, a box of instant noodles, a pack of bottled water, a set of essential medicines (balm, pain and fever reducers, stomach medicine), and milk. Of these, 600 packages were given in Hoa Thinh and 400 in Hoa Xuan. These gifts provided not only material support but also heartfelt encouragement, offering timely relief to help local residents regain strength during the most difficult period after the disaster.

While distributing the aid, there was a sentence from one local resident that the team still cannot forget:

“You’re here. We finally have rice to eat… We’ve been starving.”

That short, simple sentence might seem ordinary, but it left the entire team speechless with emotion. In the heart of a flood zone, sometimes the greatest need is simply a meal to get through the day. Coping with natural disasters is never easy, and we can only hope that peaceful days return soon, so that people no longer have to endure hunger, uncertainty, and prolonged hardship.

This meaningful journey to support the people of Phu Yen was only possible thanks to the unified efforts of the company’s leadership, the grassroots union committee, all employees, volunteers, generous sponsors, and the close coordination of local authorities and commune police, ensuring that the distribution process took place quickly and smoothly.
